This award adds to a strong record of resident-recognised excellence, following wins in 2022, 2023, and 2024 as well as being a finalist in 2021 reflects the consistent quality delivered by the team led by Manager Mike van der Heyden.
Community-owned and not-for-profit under Seniorcare Geraldine Incorporated, Waihi Lodge provides homely, person-centred rest home and respite care in a 21-bed setting in the heart of Geraldine. Families and residents often highlight the welcoming atmosphere and hands-on support that define daily life at the Lodge.
